Celebrate the Summer Solstice at Heritage Park on June 21
Celebrate the longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice, at Heritage Park! Take a hayride through the park, enjoy roasting marshmallows around a campfire, explore the Nature Center, create a fairy door and art projects, visit the Children’s Garden, and find out what makes this day so special with games and outdoor activities. It’s a great way to celebrate the first day of summer with family and friends!
The Summer Solstice Celebration will be held on Thursday, June 21 from
6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Activities are designed for all ages; participants should meet inside the Nature Center. Please dress for the weather. Adults must accompany children on the hayride wagon. The fee is $5 per person (includes a spot on the hayride). Hayrides will leave every 30 minutes. To guarantee your spot, pre-register at https://recreg.fhgov.com
or at the Costick Center. You may also drop in.
