Important Notice Regarding Felony Transcripts: This notice serves as a reminder that MCR 6.110(G) and MCR 8.119(H)(10) were recently amended by the Michigan Supreme Court to make a district court case immediately nonpublic at bindover. Attorneys or parties who wish to order a district court transcript following bindover of a felony matter should present the request directly to the appropriate district court contact. Transcript requests made by interested parties, (i.e., individuals or entities not a party to the felony criminal proceedings), for cases bound over to the Sixth Circuit Court after July 2, 2024, should be made through the Oakland County Clerk’s Office via courtexplorer@oakgov.com. For interested parties requesting transcripts, the Clerk’s Office will process the request and forward it to the appropriate court reporter or official to prepare the district court transcript.
