Discounted Fees for Licensing Before June 1

Every summer, the Oakland County Animal Control Division conducts a door-to-door census to ensure compliance with the Michigan State Dog Law of 1919, which requires all dogs (four months of age or older) to have a license. This law helps keep residents safe by making sure that all dogs in the community have current rabies vaccinations.
