Celebrate Earth Month with the City of Farmington Hills Beautification Commission’s 11th Annual Spring Cleanup: The Carol Posby Litter Walk
As part of the 11th Annual Spring Cleanup in the City of Farmington Hills, the Beautification Commission is hosting The Carol Posby Litter Walk on Saturday, April 27. This community-wide initiative aims to beautify the City by cleaning up litter accumulated over the winter months along main roadways.

Gather friends, colleagues, or organization members and join the City in this impactful Earth Month initiative. Participants can choose a stretch of main road near their neighborhood or business, and pick a time between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. that works best for their team.

"The Carol Posby Litter Walk is not just about cleaning up the City, it's about fostering a sense of community pride and responsibility," said Tracey Emmanuel, City of Farmington Hills Community Development Coordinator and staff liaison to the Beautification Commission. "Together, we can keep the City clean, green and beautiful."

Participants will need to provide their preferred cleanup area, number of participants and other essential details to receive a supply drop-off in the days ahead of the event, including gloves and trash bags. Event t-shirts are also available for volunteers, while supplies last. Interested volunteers are asked to contact Kathie Brown at kbfclbrd1@gmail.com or Tracey Emmanuel at temmanuel@fhgov.com or 248-871-2545. Registration is requested by Friday, March 29.

Community members are asked to share the word about The Carol Posby Litter Walk and encourage friends, family and colleagues to participate to help cultivate a cleaner, greener and more beautiful City. This event is made possible by the City of Farmington Hills and the Farmington Hills Beautification Commission, in association with community partners.
