City of Farmington Hills to Distribute New 95-Gallon GFL Trash Carts to Community Members

In continuing to meet the needs of community members, the City of Farmington Hills, in partnership with Green For Life Environmental USA (GFL), will deploy new black 95-gallon wheeled trash carts to residential dwellings that participate in curbside refuse collection. The carts have been authorized by Farmington Hills City Council as part of the City’s existing contract with GFL. Distribution of the new trash carts will begin Monday, Sept. 18 and will be completed on a rolling basis through mid-October. Garbage collection with the new carts will begin the week of Oct. 9.
