City Seeking Seasonal Laborers for Division of Public Works

The City of Farmington Hills is now accepting applications for temporary full-time (37.5 hours per week) Seasonal Laborers in the Division of Public Works to assist road maintenance crews. The approximate job duration is April through September. Applicants must have a valid Michigan driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years of age.
 
The hourly pay rate is $14. Prior landscaping, grounds maintenance and/or construction experience is helpful but not required. Responsibilities include assisting in pavement replacement, litter control, mowing, weed cutting, traffic counts, traffic control, and cemetery maintenance.
