Earlier today, Farmington Hills Mayor Vicki Barnett officially kicked off Farmington Hills 50th Anniversary celebrations themed, “Reflecting on our past to shine greater light on our future.” The announcement was made during the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce State of the Cities breakfast. At the event, marigold seed packets were distributed and the Mayor encouraged attendees to plant them in celebration of the City’s historic five decades. The official City of Farmington Hills 50th Anniversary party begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Founders Sports Park, located at 35500 W. Eight Mile Road with games, food, entertainment from Fifty Amp Fuse, and fireworks.
