Retirement Board of Trustees
The Retirement Board has the authority to administer, manage, and operate the retirement system and to interpret and make effective the provisions of the Pension Ordinance. The Retirement System provides for the retirement of City employees. This 7 member Board is comprised of the City’s Finance Director, two representatives from the Police/Fire union, two General Employee representatives, and two City Council appointed City-at-large members. Regular meetings are held at City Hall once every quarter. In addition, the Retirement Board has one annual planning meeting and three meetings with the investment managers.
