City of Farmington Hills Announces Changes to City Hall Campus Access, as Eleven Mile Road Reconstruction Continues

As construction continues on Eleven Mile Road between Orchard Lake and Farmington Roads, visitors to City Hall campus will no longer be able to exit via the Eleven Mile Road driveways. Beginning Monday, June 10, 2024 and until further notice, visitors to the City Hall campus, located at the southwest corner of Orchard Lake and Eleven Mile Roads, will continue to enter via the driveway on southbound Orchard Lake Road and will leave from the same drive.

All City Hall campus driveways on Eleven Mile Road will be closed during this phase of construction. Visitors will access City Hall, the Farmington Hills Police Department, the Farmington Hills Fire Department Headquarters/Station #5 and the 47th District Court via Orchard Lake Road. The drop boxes and safe transaction zone, located on the north side of the Farmington Hills Police Department will continue to remain open.

The City of Farmington Hills Department of Public Services anticipates that this section of Eleven Mile Road will remain closed to through traffic throughout the road construction project, anticipated to conclude in September.
