City of Farmington Hills Clerk’s Office Begins Sending Absent Voter Ballots Ahead of Aug. 6 Primary Election

This week, the Farmington Hills City Clerk’s Office started mailing absent voter ballots for the Aug. 6, 2024, State Primary Election to voters who have already submitted an absent voter ballot application and to voters on the City’s permanent absent voter ballot list.

 

Voters who have not yet applied for an absent voter ballot can submit an application by mail, drop box, email to FHClerk@fhgov.com or in person at the City Clerk’s Office. The application can be accessed on the City’s website here. A voter requesting a ballot in person at the City Clerk’s Office will be able to receive their ballot that same day.  If you plan to pick your ballot up in person, please bring photo ID. If you do not have photo ID, you will be required to complete an Affidavit of Person Not in Possession of Photo ID to receive your ballot.

 

Options for returning an absent voter ballot:

  • By mail, in the accompanying purple return envelope. Postage is pre-paid.
  • In any of the City’s five ballot drop boxes (map):

§  City Hall Campus (in front of the Police Station): 31655 W. 11 Mile Road

§  Costick Activities Center: 28600 11 Mile Road

§  Division of Public Works: 27245 Halsted Road

§  Fire Station #1: 35725 9 Mile Road

§  Fire Station #3: 29260 Grand River Ave.

  • In person to the City Clerk’s Office, located inside Farmington Hills City Hall at 31555 W. Eleven Mile Road.
