Consumers Energy to perform utility upgrades in Farmington Hills in 2025

Consumers Energy and authorized contractors will be working in Farmington Hills beginning mid-January through the end of 2025, primarily in the area from Drake to Orchard Lake Roads, between 12 Mile to 13 Mile Roads. Work will also be occurring in the area of Drake to Halsted Roads, between 11 Mile and 12 Mile Roads. Work will begin in Phase 5 and move into Phases 4, 3, 2 and 1 over time.

These utility upgrades will help ensure safe, reliable natural gas service to the Farmington Hills area. Crews will install new underground pipeline and work as quickly as possible to minimize the impact. Once the project is completed, contractors will restore impacted property.
