GIVE BACK
Some neighbors need a little extra help around the holidays. If you’re looking to give back to the community this holiday season, the City of Farmington Hills can help you help folks of all ages.
- Give Back to Older Adults: Did you know one of Santa’s helpers works at the Costick Activities Center in Farmington Hills? Senior adult supervisor Teresa Jergovich spearheads the Senior Secret Santa program, which provided gifts to nearly 600 older adults in 2023. Lift the spirits of an older adult who may feel alone or isolated this holiday season by donating gifts. Contact Teresa at 248-473-1826 or tjergovich@fhgov.com for more information. Wrapped gifts must be dropped off at the Costick Activities Center at 28600 W. Eleven Mile Road in Farmington Hills by Friday, Dec. 6.
- Give Back to Kids: The Farmington Hills Police and Fire make a difference in the community daily and it’s their mission every December to make sure no kid goes without a gift. Help them grant wishes with Toys for Tots by donating unwrapped toys in the lobbies of the Farmington Hills Police Department or the Farmington Hills Fire Headquarters on the campus of City Hall at the corner of Eleven Mile and Orchard Lake Roads. Donations will be accepted through Monday, Dec. 16.
