The Hawk Theatre Announces 2024/2025 Season

The Hawk Theatre in the City of Farmington Hills is thrilled to announce its 2024/2025 season, which will run from Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, through Thursday, June 19, 2025. Located within the City’s award-winning recreation venue, The Hawk, the Theatre’s third season features GRAMMY Award-winning and nominated musicians, tributes to musical legends, as well as strategic partnerships with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the University of Michigan and Chamber Soloists of Detroit to expose diverse metro Detroit audiences to high caliber performing arts experiences. Tickets for the 2024/2025 season will be available beginning June 1 at TheHawkTheatre.com.

“As one of the newest performance venues in metro Detroit, The Hawk Theatre is proud to partner with the region’s most respected cultural institutions that have long histories of artistic excellence,” said Ellen Schnackel, director of the City of Farmington Hills Special Services Department, which administers The Hawk Theatre programming through its Cultural Arts Division. “Through and beyond these partnerships, The Hawk Theatre will connect thousands of community members of all ages and interests with the arts through an eclectic collection of live entertainment, including concerts, comedy, immersive cultural celebrations and more.”

The Hawk Theatre’s 2024/2025 season will also feature several genre-specific series for audience members with keen musical interests, including acoustic, vocal, jazz and classical music.

Classical Series
The Hawk Theatre brings world-class classical performances to its Mainstage as part of the 2024/2025 season, including performances featuring the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, musicians from the University of Michigan, the Detroit Metropolitan Youth Symphony and the Farmington Concert Band for an 11-concert Classical Series on The Hawk Theatre Mainstage.

As part of the Classical Series, Chamber Soloists of Detroit will return to The Hawk Theatre with a four-concert sub-series beginning Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024. Chamber Soloists of Detroit concerts are thoughtfully crafted with varying combinations of instruments, performed by musicians of international repute, united in their mutual desire to establish a truly intimate connection with the audience. The sub-series will continue Sunday, Jan. 5, Sunday, April 6, and Monday, May 5, 2025. The May 5 performance will feature the Ehnes Quartet, led by two-time GRAMMY Award-winning violinist James Ehnes. Subscription to the four-concert Chamber Soloists of Detroit sub-series is $75. Individual tickets are $25 in advance at TheHawkTheatre.com.

Jazz Series
The Hawk Theatre will transform its Black Box into an intimate jazz club for a four-concert series
this season with live music, candle-lit tables and a bar serving classic cocktails. The Jazz Series is
bookended on Thursday, Oct. 17 and Thursday, April 10 with two performances in partnership with
the Detroit Sound Conservancy, which works to preserve the signature sounds and iconic musical
spaces in metro Detroit. The series will also feature soulful jazz vocalist Sheila Landis on Thursday,
Nov. 21, whose style is described as nostalgic, yet innovative with unique flair and improvisational
genius, followed by the Royal Oak Blues Band on Thursday, Jan. 16, performing their signature
blend of jazz and blues. Subscription to the four-concert Jazz Series is $60. Individual tickets are
$20 in advance at TheHawkTheatre.com.

Legends Series
Sure to bring anyone to their feet, The Hawk Theatre will welcome concertgoers to move and
groove to old favorites during a three-concert Legends Series, dedicated to some of history’s
biggest musical icons. The Tribute Series starts on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, with “Real Love,” a
musical tribute to country music collaborators and friends, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, and
continues on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, featuring Rock Harley in a tribute to the signature sounds
of Johnny Cash. Finally, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, The Hawk Theatre will welcome adbacadabra
with a special musical tribute to Europop legends ABBA. All Legends Series concerts start at 8 p.m.
at The Hawk Theatre’s Mainstage, and tickets are $30 in advance at TheHawkTheatre.com.
