Notice of Registration - August 6, 2024 Election

NOTICE OF REGISTRATION

FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD ON

TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2024

CITY OF FARMINGTON HILLS, MICHIGAN

 

TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF FARMINGTON HILLS, COUNTY OF OAKLAND:

 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of the City of Farmington Hills who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of the City Clerk; the office of the County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency.  Registration forms can be obtained at mi.gov/vote and mailed to the City Clerk. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at www.expressSOS.com.

The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, July 22, 2024.

After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in-person with proof of residency (MCL168.497) at the City of Farmington Hills Clerk’s Office, located at 31555 W. 11 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48336 at the following times:

Regular business hours: Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm

Extended hours:

·         Tuesday, July 30th from 8:30am to 7:00pm

·         Thursday, August 1st from 8:30am to 7:00pm

·         Saturday, August 3rd from 8:30am to 4:30pm

·         Election Day, Tuesday, August 6th from 7:00am to 8:00pm

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Election will be conducted in all voting precincts (1-27) of the City of Farmington Hills for the purpose of electing candidates for the following offices:

Congressional:

Ø  United States Senator

Ø  Representative in Congress (11th District)

Legislative:

Ø  Representative in State Legislature (18th, 19th and 21st Districts)

County:

Ø  County Executive

Ø  Prosecuting Attorney

Ø  Sheriff

Ø  Clerk and Register of Deeds

Ø  Treasurer

Ø  Water Resources Commissioner

Ø  County Commissioner (15th and 16th Districts)

Judicial:

Ø  Judge of Circuit Court (6th Circuit)

Delegate to County Convention
