City of Farmington Hills to Begin Construction on Eleven Mile Road Between Orchard Lake Road and Farmington Road Friday, March 15

City Hall driveways on Eleven Mile Road will be closed through the duration of the project

The City of Farmington Hills Department of Public Services will begin road reconstruction on Eleven Mile Road between Orchard Lake Road and Farmington Road on Friday, March 15. This section of Eleven Mile Road will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the road construction project, anticipated to conclude in September.

Beginning the morning of Friday, March 15, visitors to City Hall campus, located at the southwest corner of Orchard Lake and Eleven Mile Roads, must enter from the driveway on Orchard Lake Road. This includes access to the Farmington Hills Police Department, Farmington Hills Fire Department Headquarters/Station #5 and the 47th District Court. The drop boxes and safe transaction zone, located on the north side of the Farmington Hills Police Department will remain open throughout the project.

The City recognizes that this road construction may cause inconvenience, and greatly appreciates the community's patience throughout this period. The improvements resulting from this project will enhance transportation efficiency and safety for all residents.
