Continuing a 35-year tradition, the Farmington Hills Beautification Commission invites the community to participate in its annual Beautification Awards program. Nominations are now being accepted for property owners who go above and beyond to create and maintain beautiful landscapes, thereby enhancing the City of Farmington Hills. Nominations are open now and due by June 25, 2024, with judging taking place in early July 2024.

 

Awards are presented annually to businesses, offices, places of worship, shopping centers, and subdivision and condominium entrances with attractive and well-maintained landscapes. Judges from the Beautification Commission will visit nominated sites in early July to look for well-planned design, landscape variety, imaginative use of color, originality and property maintenance.

 

To nominate your own property, or any other deserving property, nomination forms are available on the City’s website at www.fhgov.com/beautificationawards. Interested community members may also call the Department of Planning and Community Development at 248-871-2545 to have a form emailed, faxed or mailed.
