Treasury

The Treasury Division is responsible for:

• Collecting all payments due to the city for current property taxes, special assessments, invoices, permits, and other City Hall transactions.
• Issuance of new passports and Oakland County Dog Licenses.
• Billing, collection, and distribution of real and personal property taxes.
• Based on direction from the Finance Director, invests City funds to maximize the interest on its holdings as governed by Public Act 20.
