The Farmington Hills Police Department is committed to maintaining the safety and quality of life of this community, through the delivery of superior police services without prejudice or partiality. The Farmington Hills Police Department has earned, and enjoys, a reputation for providing outstanding, professional services. Having been recognized with national awards; the Department’s community policing philosophy and community partnerships remain high priorities. Farmington Hills is annually rated by respected national research groups as being one of the safest cities in the state and nation.
The Department is divided into two bureaus. The Operations Bureau provides uniformed police patrol, traffic services, and all criminal investigations.  The Administrative Bureau manages staff, planning, the budget and training. The men and women of the Department remain committed to serve and protect.
