Important Dates to Remember for the August 6, 2024 State Primary Election:

Thursday, June 27th – Absent Voter ballots will be available in-person at the City Clerk’s Office. First mailing of Absent Voter ballots to voters who have already submitted an application or are on the Permanent Ballot List.

Monday, July 22nd   - Last day to register to vote in any matter other than in-person at your local Clerk’s Office.

Tuesday, July 23rd through Tuesday, August 6th until 8:00pm - A person may register to vote in-person at their local Clerk’s Office with proof of residency.

Saturday, July 27th through Sunday, August 4th - Early In-Person Voting available at the Costick Activities Center (28600 W. 11 Mile Rd.) from 8:30am-4:30pm, except Thursday, August 1st  when hours are Noon-8:00pm.

Friday, August 2nd 5:00pm - Deadline for voters to request an absent voter ballot to be mailed via first class mail.

Monday, August 5th 4:00pm - Deadline for registered voters to request an absent voter ballot in-person at the City Clerk’s Office. 
 
Tuesday, August 6th until 8:00pm - A person registering to vote in-person at the City Clerk’s Office may obtain and vote an absent voter ballot with proof of residency or vote in-person at their proper precinct.
