Employment Application Policy
The City of Farmington Hills accepts applications for posted vacancies only. Resumes or other documents to the City without reference to a specific vacancy or job opening will not be accepted by the City and therefore will not be considered applicants for a given vacancy.
Candidates must submit a City of Farmington Hills application for each posted vacancy to be considered an applicant for employment to a vacant position. Resumes may be included with an application.
Applications properly submitted to the City, consistent with this policy, will be considered until the position applied for has been filled. Unsolicited applications will not be retained by the City.
