Rates are per 1,000 cubic feet of water used.
Each year, the Great Lakes Water Authority updates their rates for the 112 communities that use their water and sewer service including Farmington Hills.
As of July 1, 2023 sewer rates will be billed at a rate of $53.00 per 1,000 cubic feet (mcf) of water with a minimum bill of $84.80 per quarter. Minimum bills are necessary to share in the cost of operating and maintaining the sewer system. Residents without City water will pay a flat rate for sewer of $212.00 per quarter. Bills will be prorated so that sewer use prior to July 1, 2023 will be billed at the 2022/2023 rate. Sewer use after July 1, 2023 will be billed using the 2022/2023 rate.
